Murat Kenanoğlu recieved his undergraduate degree on Political Science (B.A.) from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada on 2013.

Before joining TEPAV, Kenanoglu has volunteered in the Center for the Study of Democracy (Bulgaria, February - April 2014) and Institute of International Relations (Czech Republic, May - August 2014), 3 and 4 months respectively. During his time in these think tanks, he conducted research on migration, Freedom of Movement in the EU, trafficking in human beings, minority rights and women rights, in addition to taking part in the implementation of multi- country projects. Following this, Kenanoglu worked as a researcher for a start-up company called Boni (September 2014 - January 2015), where he conducted research and wrote articles for ‘Loud Steps’, a Project which uses IBeacon technology to provide autonomy to visually impaired via navigation system that is to be used in closed areas such as shopping malls and university buildings. Following this, Kenanoglu worked as an Expert at the Corporate Communications Department in Migros Ticaret A.Ş. in Turkey and conducted research and wrote policy reports on ‘Migros’ Sustainability issues’

Murat Kenanoglu has been working in TEPAV since February 2016.
