Turkish-American Relations Round-Table Meeting

Economic Policy Research Foundation of Turkey (TEPAV) held a round-table meeting with a delegation from New York based influential think-tank Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). During the meeting, the new parameters of bilateral relations were pointed out by participants and the affects of the domestic policies on Turkish-American relations have discussed. CFR delegation members stated their opinions on the bill regarding the Armenian issue at the U.S. Congress. Participants commented on the alternative outcomes of the upcoming election period in Turkey. Finally, the prominent role of Turkey in the Middle East was highlighted.
