Support to the Armenia – Turkey Normalisation Process Grant Scheme - Call for Proposals Deadline for applications is September 15th, 2014
ANKARA - A Consortium of eight civil society organisations from Armenia and Turkey announces the Call for Proposals for the Grant Scheme within the framework of the Support to the Armenia-Turkey Normalisation Process Programme funded by the European Union under the Instrument for Stability. The Grant Scheme has a total funding of € 200,000 and aims to support around 20 applicants with grants ranging from € 5,000 to € 30,000.
The Grant Scheme was launched by the Consortium in May 2014 and received a total of 57 applications, 34 from Armenia and 23 from Turkey, in the first deadline on June 2nd, 2014. 7 applicants, 4 from Armenia and 3 from Turkey were recommended for funding by the Evaluation Committee. The Grant Scheme has so far allocated the € 130,000 out of its total funding of € 200,000. The Grant Scheme will continue to support individuals and organisations from the two countries with grants ranging from € 5,000 to € 30,000.
Applications submitted by September 15th, 2014 will receive Consortium’s feedback in October 2014. In this case, projects can start in November 2014 with the final date of activities being April 30th, 2015.
