Second Workshop of EU-Turkey Energy Dialogue for Energy in Black Sea Region Project Took Place in İstanbul

The workshop called “Energy Market Liberalization and Regional Market Integration” was held in İstanbul on October 10th, 2016 in İstanbul. The workshop was hosted by the Economic Policy Research Foundation of Turkey (TEPAV). Aside from TEPAV all the partners and stakeholder such as  the Sofia-based Center for the Study of Democracy (CSD), the Turkish oil and gas association (PETFORM) and the Mediterranean Energy Observatory (OME), Turkish Economic and Social Studies Foundation (TESEV) have taken an active role during the event. The participants focused on three main issues during discussions; (i) prospective threats and opportunities to realize regional market integration, (ii) the dimensions of new and compehensive policy areas; (iii) opportunities to establish more comprehensive collaboration and dialogue to reach the goals of energy market liberalization and regional market integration.
