TEPAV Macroeconomic Imbalance Indicators
The Macroeconomic Imbalance Procedure (MIP) framework and the MIP Scoreboard, which was established to strengthen the coordination between fiscal and monetary policies, monitor macroeconomic policies and improve the supervision of these policies among the member states of the European Union, are replicated for Turkey by TEPAV based on publicly available official statistics. The indicative figures are updated on a quarterly basis and shared with the Bulletin of Macroeconomic Imbalance Indicators. The bulletin also includes annual statistics including comparisons with member countries.
The first issue of the bulletin was published in July 2021, and new issues are shared on the TEPAV website following the publication of the source statistics.
