Graduated from the Russian-Armenian State University Department of Political Science in 2010, holds an MA in International Relations from Hacettepe University where she worked on MA thesis “Comparative study of 1915 Medz Yeghern perception among the Armenians living in Turkey and Armenia”. Currently does a Ph.D. at Middle East Technical University Department of International Relations. In 2015 she completed an International Institute for Genocide and Human Rights University Program (GHRUP) which was organized by Zoryan Institute and hosted in partnership with the University of Toronto History Department in Canada. Later on, she completed a short-term research at the same center in Toronto focusing on Armenian-Turkish and Diaspora-Homeland relations.

She joined TEPAV in October 2014, working as an Advisor on Armenian-Turkish normalization projects aiming to promote civil society efforts towards the normalization of relations between Turkey and Armenia and towards an open border. Currently, she is engaged in the Regional Projects at TEPAV, with a focus on the Regional Developments in Turkey and South Caucasus.

 

 

Graduated from the Russian-Armenian (Slavic) State University Department of Political Science in 2010, I hold a MA in International Relations from Hacettepe University and currently do a PhD at Ankara University Department of International Relations. My main academic areas of research are Armenian-Turkish relations, Armenian Diaspora, Trauma Healing and Reconciliation, Nationalism, South Caucasus and Russia.

While working on MA thesis “Comparative study of 1915 Medz Yeghern perception among the Armenians living in Turkey and Armenia” I worked at the same time at Human Rights and Conflicts Research Institute from 2013 to October 2014 as Projects Manager and Political Analyst. I joined TEPAV in October 2014, working at Foreign Policy Department as an Advisor on Armenian-Turkish normalization projects and Regional Developments in South Caucasus. Currently I am engaged in the Regional Projects at TEPAV.
