"“5. Merih Celasun Memorial Day” will be held in Istanbul"

TEPAV will host Hasan Ersel at the 5. Merih Celasun Memorial Day

Organized by TEPAV to celebrate his significant contributions to the field of economy, "Merih Celasun Memorial Day" will be held for the fifth time, in Istanbul. Similar to the first memorial-day held in 2010, “Merih Celasun Memorial Lecture” will once again be given by a prominent academician. The lecture titled “How much of the economic policy inspired by economic theory?” will be held by Hasan Ersel.

“5. Merih Celasun Memorial Day” will take place on December 1st, 2018 on Saturday at the premises of Istanbul Chamber of Industry. Following the lecture by Hasan Ersel, a two-session panel will be held, titled “What kind of multi-faceted economic policy design do we need?”. The first session of the panel will be moderated by Hurriyet columnist Erdal Saglam, and the second session will be moderated by Sübidey Togan, Emeritus Professor of Economics at Department of Economics and Director of Center for International Economics at Bilkent University and the panel discussion will be moderated by Editor-in-Chief at Dünya Newspaper, Hakan Güldağ.
