Selin Arslanhan Memiş is the Program Director of Innovation Studies overseeing think tank and consultancy activities in the areas of industrial policy, technology, innovation and health policy. She joined TEPAV (The Economic Policy Research Foundation of Turkey) in 2008. She holds a B.Sc. in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Istanbul University and an MBA degree from TOBB Economy and Technology University. Her MBA dissertation is on the economic valuation of R&D for biotechnology companies. Throughout her career she managed and took part in several projects including “Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) for the Establishment of National Cancer Institute of Turkey (NCIT)”, “Economic Assessment of the REACH Regulation on the Chemicals Industry of Turkey (ERCIT)”, “Technical Assistance on Developing Models for Fiscal Policy Analysis and Evaluation – Health Module”, “Life Sciences Feasibility Study” and, “Research on Pricing and Repayment Methods in Hospitals.”, “Pharmaceutical R&D Ecosystem Roadmap”, “Public-Private Partnership Models in High-Tech industries”, and “Pharmaceutical Manucacturing and Export Ecosystem Roadmap”.
