Esra Özpınar earned a BA degree in Sociology from Galatasaray University (2011) with her dissertation “Medicalization of Everyday Life and Individualization of the Health Problematic.”
Özpınar went on to study public health at French School of Public Health, Paris (EHESP) (2012-2014). During the last semester of the program, she interned at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health where she studied obesity, and diabetes in Turkey, and tobacco policies. She received an MPH from EHESP in July 2014 with her dissertation titled “Tobacco Control Policies: A Comparative Study Between The US (NYC), France and Turkey.”
Esra Özpınar, worked at TEPAV between December 2014 and March 2017 as a Research Associate.
