Turkey Can Be Very Active In The Region

Economic Policy Research Institute (TEPAV|EPRI) organized a meeting entitled "Prospects for the Peace Process in Palestine" featuring the former Foreign Minister of the Palestinian National Authority and the current member of the Palestinian Parliament, Dr. Nabil Shaath as the keynote speaker. Serving as the Palestinian National Authority's first ever foreign minister from April 2003 to February 2005, Dr. Shaath also previously held the positions of Minister of Planning and Minister of International Cooperation. During this meeting organized by TEPAV|EPRI on September 5, 2006, Shaath evaluated the current stage of the Israeli-Palestinian peace process and discussed what future prospects this process offers.
