TEPAV attended the "Seventh South and South-West Asia Subregional Forum on the Sustainable Development Goals" held on October 10-12, 2023, in Kathmandu, Nepal. The event was co-hosted by the National Planning Commission of the Government of Nepal in collaboration with the UN Resident Coordinator and the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, bringing together governments, civil society, the private sector, academia, sub/regional and international institutions on a common subregional platform.

Feride İnan, Director of the Center for Geoeconomic Studies at TEPAV, was responsible for delivering inputs on the progress review for SDG 16, which focuses on promoting peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development. The session was chaired by Deepa Nilanthi Liyange, Additional Secretary to the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, and other participants included Ayshanie Medagangoda-Labé, Resident Representative for UNDP in Nepal; Jyotsna Mohan, Regional Coordinator for the Asia Development Alliance in India; and Mr. Khedrup Dorji from the Energy and Natural Resources Department of Bhutan.

On November 6, 2023, TEPAV will be attending the meeting of the Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI) Working Group on Policy Advocacy, which is scheduled to be held in conjunction with the 37th CACCI Conference. This year, CACCI has requested TEPAV to prepare a policy paper on a proposal for sector-specific, green transformation model aimed at fostering value chain formation among CACCI member countries.
