The 4th Meeting of the Task Force on a Common Black Sea Strategy was Held in TEPAV
13/10/2008 - Viewed 1230 timesThe 4th meeting of the Task Force on a Common Black Sea Strategy, which was established under the leadership of International Center for Black Sea Studies (ICBSS), was held in Ankara, on 10-11 October 2008, in cooperation with International Policy Research Institute of the Economic Policy Research Foundation of Turkey (TEPAV-IPRI).
The Task Force is intended to meet periodically with the participation of 20-25 experts from the region, in order to ascertain the possibility of formulating a joint strategy for the development of the wider Black Sea area.
The 4th meeting of the Task Force this time focused on: Recent developments in the region: Assessing the Georgian crisis and its aftermath; Developments in Turkey and its role in the Caucasus and, the way forward.
