İSTANBUL - TEPAV and Islamic Development Bank signed a protocol on economic cooperation on October 6, 2010.

With the signing of the protocol a project has been launched with TEPAV, Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD), an Islamic Development Bank organization, and Statistical, Economic & Social Research & Training Centre for Islamic Countries (SECRIC). The Project targets to facilitate cooperation with Islamic Development Bank's member states' on economic integration, private sector development and especially Organized Industrial Zones model of Turkey which is a good example for the region. During the Project which is planned to be completed in a year, research on these current and potential situations with respect to these issues will be conducted and TEPAV will guide Islamic countries in the process.

The protocol between ICD, SECRIC and TEPAV has signed by TEPAV Training and Research Institute for Public Policy (TRIPP) Director Assoc. Prof. Ümit Özlale, CEO of ICD Mr. Khalid Al-Aboodi and Director General of SESRIC Dr. Savaş Alpay.
