Acting Deputy Secretary of the US Department of Agriculture Scuse Debriefed about TEPAV | FAPRI TEPAV Director Güven Sak gave a presentation about the Institute’s activities

ANKARA - Acting Deputy Secretary of the US Department of Agriculture Michael Scuse paid a visit to TEPAV on Friday, 14 June 2013 in the context of a trade mission to Turkey and learned about the activities of the  Food and Agricultural Policies Research Institute (TEPAV | FAPRI).

During the meeting that hosted Scuse and a delegation of 10 people, TEPAV Director Güven Sak delivered a presentation on TEPAV’s activities involving food and agricultural policies. The meeting was attended also by TEPAV | FAPRI Director Sibel Güven, Institute Advisor Necdet Budak, and Institute analyst and researchers Bengisu Vural Özenç, Efşan Nas Özen, and İdil Özdoğan.

The TEPAV | Food and Agricultural Policies Research Institute (FAPRI) was established in September 2012 under the auspices of TEPAV in partnership with its American counterpart based at Iowa State and Missouri Universities on the principles of scientific method and data exchange.
