10 Successful Armenian Startups Are Coming to Istanbul to Meet with Investors Turkey - Armenia Entrepreneurship Program

Turkey- Armenia Entrepreneurship Program has started in 2014 by TEPAV and Public Journalism Club (PJC) within the scope of Turkey Armenia Normalization Process funded by EU. On October 6th, fifth stage of the entrepreneurship program will take place in Istanbul.

Within the scope of the program; most successful Armenian startups are selected by TEPAV and PJC through an open call and series of interviews. Ten Armenian startups have guaranteed to become a part of the Startup Istanbul 2016. Startup Istanbul is the leading startup event which generates a platform for founders, investors and executives in the Eurasia. This annual event will host more than 500 startups, 200 investors from all around the world this year.  With more than 4.000 attendees from the entrepreneurship ecosystem, it’s a gathering of the major startups, internet companies, business angels and venture capitalists from Asia and Europe between 6-10th October, 2016.

During the event, ten selected Armenian startups will not only get to know about several other innovative entrepreneurs and investors but also will attend to an intensive mentorship program that will be mastered by names like; Amal Dokhan, Ozan Sönmez, Bill Kenney, Rina Onur, Jake Disraeli, Betül Genç. Along with the other selected startups from all around the world, Armenian Startups will gather in Istanbul and meet best mentors from US and Europe.

On the last day of the Program, Startup Istanbul Challenge will take place where three finalists will be selected by the jury of region’s leading Venture Capitals.
