Origin of funding: Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB)
The main objective of the project is to determine the fastest growing companies in Turkey to attract global attention to those companies. In the context of the project, selected companies with outstanding performance were given support and mentoring for;
- Gaining local and international media attention that draws new customers, investors, talent, and opportunities;
- Establishing business relations and a network with leading fast growing leading companies all around the world through attending to the AllWorld Leadership Summit at Harvard University;
- Becoming a part of a common communication networks with famous academicians, investors and entrepreneurs so as to know about new developments in the business environment;
- Being evaluated for the Eurasia 500 list to be opened in the next period;
- Being invited to attend the “Arabia 500+Turkey” award ceremony that brought together participants from the Middle East and North Africa in Istanbul on 3-6 December 2011 so that Turkey 25 companies can meet fast growing peers in their near geography, enjoy new business opportunities and contribute to the economic integration across the region.
Eligible companies were ranked on the basis of their performance with regards to their gross sales revenue growth between 2008 and 2010 and top 25 fastest growing companies were identified. Companies that attained rapid growth but did not fulfill the eligibility criteria for gross revenue or year of establishment requirements, were qualified for recognition as Companies-To-Watch.
Within the scope of the project, TEPAV has provided the following services;
- Launching the competition and determining the eligibility criteria,
- Evaluation of the applicants,
- Organizing and conducting ‘’All World Turkey 25 Award Ceremony’’,
- Providing consultancy for the selected companies to develop networks and new business relations as well as their coordinating their participation into the events,
- Inviting selected companies for the ‘’Arabia 500+Turkey Award Ceremony’’ in Istanbul which was conducted on 3-6 December 2011 and the ‘’AllWorld Leadership Summit’’ at Harvard University in February 2012.
