Research Associate
Yağmur Celep graduated with honors in 2024 from Başkent University with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, ranking second in her department.
In 2023, she completed an internship at the Ministry of Family and Social Services of the Republic of Türkiye. During this period, she conducted her undergraduate thesis titled “Unionization in the Context of New Forms of Labor and Job Insecurity.”
During her undergraduate studies, she was a researcher in the TÜBİTAK-funded project, “The Impact of Municipal Courses on Combating Unemployment in Turkey within the Framework of Sustainable Development Goals: The Case of Ankara.”
Currently, Celep is a Master’s candidate in Sociology at Hacettepe University. Her thesis research focuses on the intersection of digital health applications and women’s experiences. Her broader research interests include digitalization, urban studies, and labor and employment.
Yağmur Celep joined TEPAV as a Research Associate in January 2026.
